Presentation Description
Dinner Presentation: A Picture Stroll Through HVAC; the Good, the Bad and the Ugly from a Maintenance Perspective
Presenter: Mike Gallagher, P.E., Western Allied
Presentation Summary: This picture & comment presentation is not about maintenance per se’, but more about what the results of obtuse and oblivious design decisions will look like to the maintenance & service staff in a few years. Examples range from funny to sad to examples of how it should be done. Be prepared to laugh at some absurd things found after the fact in real HVAC systems, while hopefully learning something from the mistakes of others (who shall remain unnamed).
Technical Presentation: Fault Detection and Diagnostics
Presenter: Dave Adams, Climatec
Presentation Summary: Presentation will go over what Fault Detection and Diagnostics otherwise known as FDD is, why FDD is used, its benefits, and basics of implementation. Other types of analytic technologies will be touched on so the differences with traditional FDD will be understood.
